Naomi AI Disclaimer

1. What Naomi Is

Naomi is the recommendation engine that powers the planning tools and analytical features on the Eanvest platform. Naomi processes information you provide - your stated goals, your risk profile, your financial inputs, your timeline, and your preferences - together with information about available products and market conditions, and produces:

  • suggested portfolio allocations;
  • projected balances and scenarios;
  • coverage and shortfall analyses;
  • goal-attainment estimates;
  • risk-band classifications; and
  • educational explanations of financial concepts.

2. What Naomi Is Not

Naomi is software. Naomi is not:

  • a human financial adviser;
  • a substitute for personal financial advice from a regulated professional;
  • a licensed broker, dealer, fund manager, or tax adviser;
  • aware of facts about you that you have not entered into the platform, including your tax position, assets held outside Eanvest, dependants, other liabilities, personal preferences beyond what you have stated, or any legal or family considerations; or
  • able to verify the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. How Naomi Generates Outputs

Naomi combines:

  • information you provide through the platform, including responses to questionnaires;
  • reference data about products and instruments, including stated yields, historical performance where available, fee schedules, and product characteristics;
  • quantitative methods, including compounding mathematics, risk-band mapping, and rule-based logic for tool-specific calculations; and
  • assumptions, including assumed inflation rates, assumed yields, and other parameters configured by Eanvest that may change over time.

Naomi does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. All instructions to invest, redeem, or transact remain with you.

4. Limitations and Known Risks

4.1 Output May Be Inaccurate or Incomplete

Naomi's outputs can contain inaccuracies. Data feeds may be stale. Assumptions may not match your situation. Calculations are illustrative. Always sanity-check material figures and seek independent verification for decisions that meaningfully affect your finances.

4.2 Naomi Reflects What You Tell Her

If your inputs are wrong, the output will be wrong. Naomi cannot detect when you have under-reported income, over-stated expenses, omitted material assets, or misunderstood a question. Keep your information accurate and up to date.

4.3 Assumptions Matter

Some tools use assumptions configured by Eanvest, including but not limited to:

  • inflation rate for projections;
  • yield assumptions for money market funds and balanced funds;
  • stock-to-sales bands and safety caps in business-focused tools such as Eanventory; and
  • risk-band thresholds in the risk questionnaire.

These assumptions are reasonable working values for the Nigerian context at the time of writing. They will not match real market conditions in every period and may be updated by Eanvest as conditions change. Outputs derived from these assumptions are illustrative, not predictive.

4.4 Methodology Changes Over Time

We may improve Naomi's models, change the underlying assumptions, or revise the scoring of questionnaires. We log version history of recommendations for audit purposes, but the recommendation Naomi makes today may differ from what she would have made yesterday or will make tomorrow, even with identical inputs.

4.5 Naomi Is Not Omniscient

Naomi cannot predict markets. She cannot foresee company-specific news, macroeconomic shocks, regulatory changes, currency moves, or political events, and cannot give you a tip on which stock will outperform next week. If something on the platform appears to promise such certainty, please report it to compliance@eanvest.com.

5. Your Responsibilities When Using Naomi

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Read the outputs critically and ask questions where anything is unclear.
  • Treat projections as illustrative, not predictive.
  • Seek independent advice for material decisions or where your circumstances are complex.
  • Review product documentation before investing in any specific product.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

Information you provide to Naomi is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. Aggregated and anonymised data may be used to improve the engine. We do not sell your data.

7. Regulatory Framing

Where Naomi's activity constitutes Robo-Advisory Services within the meaning of the SEC Rules, that activity is conducted under Eanvest's SEC licence. Order execution is performed by licensed Capital Market Operators. The audit trail of Naomi's recommendations is maintained as required by law.

8. Liability

Eanvest does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any output from Naomi. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Eanvest is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on Naomi's outputs. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

9. Updates

We may update this Disclaimer as Naomi evolves or as regulation changes.
